Banana Bread Version 2

I had three very ripe bananas this morning and didn't want to toss them in the trash. Here is another version of banana bread.

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups mashed banana
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease and flour one 9x5 inch pan.

Cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs, vanilla, then bananas. Add flour, salt and baking soda. Add the chopped nuts.

Pour into prepared pan and bake for about 1 hour.
